Welcome to YES Prep Southwest Oaks Elementary!

It is a tremendous honor to serve as the principal of YES Prep Southwest Oaks Elementary and to partner with the incredible students, families, and community of Southwest Houston. Thank you for considering our school as a place where your child can learn, grow, and thrive.

About Sean Little 

Sean Little is originally from the Dallas-Fort Worth area but is proud to now call Houston home. Sean holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas Christian University and a master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of Texas at Arlington.

His career in public education started when he joined Teach For America in 2012, teaching middle school math in Memphis, Tennessee. He then joined YES Prep East End Secondary in 2014 and worked there for 10 years as a 7th-grade Math Teacher, Dean of Instruction, and Director of Campus Operations. He then served as a Resident Principal at Northwest Secondary and Hobby Secondary.

 Sean is passionate about creating opportunities for students through an excellent education and is excited to bring his experience to the Southwest Oaks Elementary community. Outside of work, Sean loves to travel, play board games, and spend time with his family.
